About Us
In early 2021, a group of friends from the Philippines decided to create a music group by the name of “Bleak Society” in order to showcase their talents in producing, singing, and creating visual art. They started by making lo-fi music, but then ventured into different genres such as Rap, Bedroom Pop, and Emo Rap. Their first EP, “Phobias”, was influenced by Shiloh Dynasty and was created via voice messages and a digital audio workstation. Through the use of Discord, the music group is able to continue making music even though there is a quarantine.
"Nxbody" - Producer
Nxbody is the beatmaker/producer of this collective. Like most producers, he started making music as a hobby. He first started out by recreating and remixing famous songs, and then eventually decided to make his own music. He reached out to his friend, iichiou, to hop on some of the beats he made, then their collaboration resulted to the start of the collective, Bleak Society
iichiou, is the vocalist and songwriter of this collective. At first, he simply loved singing and listened to a lot of music on his free time. Then, one day when he and Nxbody talked about creating music together, he discovered that because of all the music he listened to, he could already do a bit of songwriting. He started by writing some "Shiloh Dynasty" type verses, which was made into a lofi song by Nxbody, and then transitioned into making full songs.
"iichiou" - Vocalist
Aster is one of the visual artists of the group. Due to his talent in making portraits and in making digital art, he was invited by iichiou to join the collective as a visual artist. With his talent, he make sure that every song that the collective releases comes with a simple but beautiful cover art.

Luckyslax is one of the visual artists of the group. Starting as someone who loved doodling random things since childhood, never would he expect to be a part of a music group. At first close friends, iichiou and Nxbody talked about creating a music band. At first he thought it was a joke so he agreed to be the visual artist. Now watch as Luckyslax continues to try and improve his talent for the collective.
